Transportation Info & Links

Fares
Subway fare is $2.25 regardless of distance. It is very easy to purchase a fare card for cash or credit.
Bus does NOT accept paper money! BUS ONLY accepts quarters (9 of them) or fare cards.
Taxis accept credit cards. Tip 10-15%. Take YELLOW taxis (metered, with receipt). Black limos cost more.

Airports
....LaGuardia (LGA) to Manhattan taxi $35 + $6 toll; or take the M60 city bus $2.25 to 125th St., transfer to subway.
....Kennedy (JFK) to Manhattan taxi $45.50 + $6 toll fixed fare to/from; or take the A train subway via airTrain to city $7.25, $2.25 via bus.
....Newark (EWR) to Manhattan taxi $95 + $6 toll; or take 'sky-train' to NJ Transit train to Penn Station $18.
... Privately operated shuttle buses are available at each airport, to various Manhattan destinations.
... An "Airlink Shuttle" is available from Park Central Hotel to LGA ($21), JFK ($27), and EWR ($24) via the PCH travel desk.
