Optional Excursions: Wednesday afternoon 28-July-2010 (as of 11-June-2010)
A variety of customized excursions by city transit will be available to conference participants. Registered participants will receive an admission voucher for the American Museum of Natural History, that can be used throughout and beyond the meeting period. Details of excursions, including nominal costs and contact information of excursion coordinators, will be provided on this page as details are available. These excursion options have been confirmed as of June 10, 2010. Please contact the COORDINATOR at contact email if you are interested in participating in the excursion. Logistics must be arranged with the leader (coordinator) of each individual excursion. He tells GREAT stories about the City, as well. Group Dinner: The dinner will be held Wednesday evening, July 28, 6-11 pm, at the Jing Fong restaurant in New York’s Chinatown. It is very easy to purchase a fare card for cash or credit. Bus does NOT accept paper money! BUS ONLY accepts quarters (9 of them) or fare cards. Taxis accept credit cards. Tip 10-15%. |
