Presentation Information Oral Submitting: Each electronic presentation must be turned in on CD-ROM or memory stick at least one day prior to the start of the session in which it will be presented. Presentations for Monday’s sessions must be turned in Sunday evening during registration. Facilities for this purpose will be present at the Sunday evening reception. Monday speakers wishing to pre-submit presentations may do so by emailing them as attachments to: metsoc2010 at gmail dot com (please indicate name & abstract # in subject heading). Format: Each of the two session rooms will include a lectern, screen, laser pointer, and lavaliere microphone. Hardware: There will be one LCD projector in each room, connected to both a PC and a Macintosh laptop via a KVM switch. Presenters are strongly discouraged from using their own laptops. Software: Operating systems will by (PC) Microsoft Windows XP Pro or (Mac) OS X Snow Leopard (v. 10.6.4). Powerpoint (MS office 2007 for PC, 2008 for MAC), Quicktime, and Acrobat Reader v.9 will be installed on all laptops. Apple iWork 2009 (including Keynote) will be installed on all MACs. Posters Format: A single poster board 48” x 48” has been reserved for each poster presentation. Posters may be mounted using binder clips, which will be provided by the organizers. Clear plastic tape will be available for posters that require it. Poster boards are 1/4" white foam core mounted on sturdy tripod easels. Timing: You may install your poster Monday afternoon, July 26, for the poster session on Tuesday evening. Tuesday evening posters must be removed by Wednesday morning by 11:00 a.m., or they will be discarded. You may install posters Wednesday afternoon, July 28, for the poster session on Thursday evening. Posters must be removed by Friday, July 30, 11:00 a.m., or they will be discarded.
